How’s the month of April treating you? As a reminder, we’re in a Universal 9-month, which isn’t always the easiest number to navigate. Are you coming to a head with something you’ve been avoiding? Are you being asked to let something go?

I encourage you to ask these questions now so you can move into May with recharged energy. May will bring new things, but first, you have to make room! What are you willing to release?

Today’s triple botanical feature consists of three 9-energy plants, all finishing up their blooms as we finish out this month. There’s a little lesson you can learn from each of these plants.

Muscari

Grape Hyacinth 9

G(7)+R(9)+A(1)+P(7)+E(5) = 29 = 2+9 = 11

H(8)+Y(7)+A(1)+C(3)+I(9)+N(5)+T(2)+H(8) = 43 = 4+3 = 7

Total: 11+7 = 18 = 1+8 = 9

Grape Hyacinth represents the whole range of the human experience, specifically that of birth, marriage/union, and death. The number 9 is the last phase of the entire 1-9 cycle. It represents the completion of all stages of development. Ultimately it represents accumulated wisdom.

What are you learning from your current life stage? What are you learning this month that can assist you going forward?

Redbud 9

R(9)+E(5)+D(4)+B(2)+U(3)+D(4) = 27 = 2+7 = 9

The Redbud is a subtle but diverse beauty. The closer you get to it, the more there is to notice and appreciate.

The following story is a sweet illustration of the unique attributes and gifts of the Redbud. It’s only 2 minutes and 20 seconds, so give it a listen.

The number 9 is about taking the sum of learned experiences and knowledge and pulling them together for greater wisdom. Each Prince in the story was only able to gather one observation about the tree, but the king understood how all the information went together.

In this 9-month, are you still seeing the pieces? Or are you at a phase of gathering up your accumulated knowledge to make broader conclusions and wiser decisions?

Magnolia

Magnolia 9

M(4)+A(1)+G(7)+N(5)+O(6)+L(3)+I(9)+A(1) = 36 = 3+6= 9

The magnolia never seems to bloom for long enough! We started the month with the early Star Magnolias, and now we are finishing out with the last of the Saucer Magnolias.

If I were in a warmer climate, I’d still be anticipating the beautiful white Southern Magnolia blooms. If you have them in your neighborhood, please give them a warm hello for me!

Legend has it; the Magnolia tree has always existed since the beginning of creation. It’s a tree that represents endurance and living a long life. When you’re experiencing a 9-period of time, it can feel very long and perhaps a bit exhausting. And yet, there is still a long journey ahead.

This month you’re being asked to unpack a few things from your backpack so that you can forge on with renewed energy and a better sense of direction. How will you choose to lighten your load?
